عطاآبادہنزہ( )پاکستان میں قدرتی آفات سے نمٹنے کے قومی ادارے کے سربراہ لیفیننٹ جنرل ( ر) ندیم احمد نے کہاہے کہ 4جنوری2010 کو لینڈ سلائیڈنگ سے عطا آباد کے مقام پر بننے والی جھیل سے پانی کااخراج آبی گزرگاہ سے شروع ہوگیاہے اوراس کی رفتار میں بتدریج اضافہ ہو رہا تتوقع ہے کہ جھیل سے پانی کی مجموعی طورپر بڑی لہر / ریلا آئندہ24سے36گھنٹوں کے دوران آئے گا یہ بات انہوںنے جمعہ کی صبح عطا آباد جھیل کی صورتحال کاجائزہ لینے کے بعد ہنزہ اورگلگت میںصحافیوں سے بات چیت کے دوران بتائی انہوںنے کہاکہ جھیل میں پانی کی آمدمیں اضافے کے باعث سپل وے میں پانی نے انتہائی حد کوتوعبورکرلیاہے لیکن اس کے آگے اس دوران مٹی یا پتھر گرنے کی وجہ سے اس کی رفتارمیںکمی آگئی ہے تاہم وقت گزرنے کے ساتھ ساتھ پانی کی رفتار میں اضافہ ہورہاہے انہوںنے بتایا کہ جھیل میں پانی کی آمد3ہزار کیوسک ہے اورسپل وے میں اتنی زیادہ مقدارمیںپانی نہیں سما سکتاہے اس لئے پانی کی آمد میں اضافے کی وجہ سے اس کے دباﺅ میں بھی اضافہ ہوگا اور اس صورتحال میں لگتا یہی ہے کہ اگلے24سے 36گھنٹوں ... 1988-2010: Situation of Unrest in Gilgit and Ground Realties

For last many years, the people belonging to different school of thoughts like Shia, Sunni and Ismaili were living peacefully in the scenic region of Gilgit and Baltistan. The region was famous for its calm and cordial environment. However in May 1988, at sudden, a large number of Wahabi terrorists attacked the adjoining areas of Gilgit. The brigades of terrorist were enjoying the full support and backing of the wicked dictator General Zia. The terrorists played devastation in the Jalalabad, Minawar and adjoining areas. Government was silent spectator and even in few places it was openly helping the terrorists in their assassination campaign against the Shian e Haider Karar. Hundred of Shia people were brutally killed; their houses were burst into flames. The terrorists never took any exception in burning the holy and religious places like Masajids.

The 22nd anniversary of Shohda Millat e Jafaria was observed with an aim and commitment, that every member of the community will follow the path of martyrs. In this connection, a program was organized in Imamia Jama Masjid Gilgit to pay homage to martyrs of 1988. While addressing a huge gathering Quaid Millat e Jafaria Gilgit Baltistan Syed Rahat Hussain Al Hussaini condemned the negligence of government in probing the killings of 1988 mayhem, when large numbers of terrorist attacked the town of Gilgit and hundred of Momineens were killed. Aga Rahat said twenty two years have been passed since the terrible events of 1988 but government has not been succeeded in apprehending the culprits. گلگت +چلاس(شہاب الدین غوری+ تنویر احمد ) ڈپٹی کمشنر دیامر سبطین احمد نے عطا آباد جھیل کی خطرناک صورتحال کو مدنظر رکھتے ہوئے دیامر کی حدود میں شاہراہ قراقرم ہر قسم کی ٹریفک کیلئے جمعہ کے صبح9 بجے سے مکمل بند کرنے کاحکم دیا ہے انہوں نے کہا کہ شاہراہ قراقرم دریائے سندھ کے ساتھ ملحقہ ہے عطا آباد جھیل ٹوٹنے کی صورت میں کسی قسم کے جانی نقصانات کم سے کم ہونے کے لیے یہ اقدام اٹھایا گیا ہے انہوں نے کہا کہ دیامر کے تمام نشیبی علاقوں سے لوگوں کا انخلا مکمل ہوچکا ہے اورپولیس موبائل شاہراہ قراقرم ہر جگہ جگہ الرٹ ہیں جبکہ تمام تھانہ جات کے ایس ایچ اوز کو بھی ہدایات جاری کی ہیں کہ دریائے سندھ کے دونوں اطراف 60 فٹ پر دفعہ144 پر سختی سے عملدرآمد کرایا جائے اور کوئی فرد اس کی خلاف ورزی کرے تو اس کے خلاف کارروائی کی جائے۔دریں اثناءعطا آباد جھیل میں پانی کی سطح اور سپل وے کے درمیان صرف چار فٹ پانچ انچ کا فاصلہ رہ گیا ہے ماہرین کے مطابق اگلے 24 سے36 گھنٹے کے درمیان جھیل کے اوپر سے سپل وے کے ذریعے پانی کا اخراج شروع... Millat e Jafaria comprehends the Gilgit-Baltistan (Empowerment and Self Governance) order 2009 as a positive and terms it as a first step in the right direction. But still it fails to fulfill the wishes of the people. The welcoming feature of the package is substitution of vague name of Northern Areas with Gilgit Baltistan ; a name truly represents the region and its valiant people. Government must conduct operation in terrorist residing areas: Millat e Jafaria Gilgit Baltistan

hia Tulbah Action Committee strongly condemns the killing of an innocent person and public official in Gilgit and terms it as part of ongoing assassination conspiracy against Shia community. The happening of tragic incident in current political situation is moreover conspiracy to destroy the situation of peace in entire region of Gilgit Baltistan. The newly elected CM and governor should take notice of this tragic incident and order for stern action against the terrorists. It is evident from the different terrorist attacks that the miscreants are residing in Baseen, Sakarkoi and Kashrote areas of Gilgit. Law enforcement agencies have been failed to apprehend the miscreants from the stronghold areas of terrorists.
